Co-Founder, Medical Physicist
Robbie is a board-certified medical physicist (DABR, American Board of Radiology; DABMP, American Board of Medical Physics) and co-founder of Heelex. He oversees clinical physics, dosimetry, and treatment-planning quality across the Low-Dose Radiation Therapy program. Robbie helped bring Low-Dose Radiation Therapy back to the U.S. for benign disease, opening the first dedicated clinic in 2020.
Radiation Oncologist
Our radiation oncologist is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) and oversees all clinical treatment decisions and medical review for Low-Dose Radiation Therapy at Heelex. Every LDRT plan is reviewed and authorized by the radiation oncologist before treatment begins.
Podiatrist
Dr. Bates is a board-certified podiatrist (DPM, Doctor of Podiatric Medicine) practicing at Heelex Surprise. He treats the full range of foot and ankle conditions and works alongside the LDRT team for chronic plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinopathy, and foot-related musculoskeletal pain that has not responded to conservative care.
Credentials matter. Every Low-Dose Radiation Therapy plan at Heelex Surprise is authored by a board-certified medical physicist and reviewed by a board-certified radiation oncologist before treatment begins. There is no LDRT delivered at Heelex Surprise without that two-clinician approval.
